Éditions Larousse is a French publishing house specialising in reference works such as dictionaries. It was founded by Pierre Larousse in 1852, and its best-known work is the Petit Larousse.
These books were paperback books of fiction French literature, for college students at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. This was mostly used as an aide to students that wanted a more detailed information on historic novels and literature classics.
These beautiful paperbacks are a great addition to add to any vintage book collector, French book collection, or someone that just wants to "brush up" on their French literature. Not a collector of books? This makes for amazing country chic, or French chic decor, or photos.
