Collectible and sold out at Anthropologie. A letter B plate features a vintage wooden boat sailing off into the horizon, heading toward land. In Pyari’s gorgeous script is the phrase “bon voyage”. Minute details like hovering seagulls and ripples of blue in the sea make this rendering special. Calligrapher Diva Pyari collaborated with Anthropologie on this wonderful alphabet of plates. Pyari was inspired by vintage flash cards from her travels and her illustrations are spot on. The design is anchored by her masterful lettering. There are two nicks in the glaze, it appears to have been fired like that during the finishing process. Otherwise in beautiful, like new condition.
