Antique Inlaid Handmade Wooden Hinged Top Box

Extremely old, handmade antique wooden box with both inlaid and veneered wooden design on top. Box has metal hinging and metal keyhole on front, key is missing. Box is cracked on bottom, has damage to lid, interior was either painted or papered at one time. This may have been a jewelry box or a tea box since it's former owner used to lock it. Tea used to be a precious commodity in the late 1800-1900's, so the lady of the house would have kept it under lock and key. Please see all photos for condition, selling as is. 00Sam
