Buyers please be advised that this account has stolen my photos and listing and is trying to scam people. The original listing is posted in my account where the boots are actually for sale. I’ve seen many instances like this in which accounts have popped up with just one or a handful of listings available. Before purchase please check for previous sales and ratings, if it is a new account with no ratings available this is a MAJOR RED FLAG. Please purchase from reputable sellers to avoid being scammed. Any help in reporting this account would also be wonderful 🙂

homermags @klosetenvi I reported this to Poshmark. They waited seven days to cancel, despite the concern oh, and did so due to a delay in shipping rather than the account being fraudulent. Then, I noticed both accounts that were using the same pictures were left up on Poshmark and no action had been taken against them..

klosetenvi @brokenstick yes I’ve wondered that myself, how exactly they get their money if sellers don’t get paid until a buyer accepts their order. But I mean scammers are very creative with their ways so whatever they’re doing must pay off if they keep plaguing the place with false listings.

klosetenvi LADIES‼️I’ve posted another perfect example of what scammers pages look like. In the second and third photo you can see the account only has one listing up that’s multi quantity with even half sizes listed as available for the boot, when we know FREEBIRD only has whole sizes. The account has zero reviews and is fairly newly created. All major red flags.

klosetenvi @pltheut hi there! No problem, it’s quite easy, when you go into someone’s closet, on their banner at the very top you’ll see two buttons, one says about and one says follow. Click the about button and scroll down. If they have ratings this is where you’ll find those. I hope that’s helpful 😁

sneak81107 @froggy2103 that’s good. I love posh and I have other sites but usually I can find what I’m looking at for half or even a quarter of the price by doing research. I think it’s fun to find someone thing for $80 but find it for $7 for the exact same item. Other sites want you to lower price just to share. And I’ve ran into some wonderful ladies on here that I actually talk to on a regular basis. 🥰

jnfrsposh22 🚩 2/3. 8/10 times you can tell it’s a potential scammer either by the way they type or the way they talk, because this is probably a foreigner with little to no English and used speak to translate or other types of language help apps/software.

klosetenvi @iwantagoldenegg you are correct the funds do only release after the buyer accepts so you can try and purchase and you might score. But you might not in which case you can always open up a dispute with Poshmark, your funds just take several days to be refunded though, I’ve heard some say it takes 10 days past from when a dispute is settled to have the money reimbursed.

alyross @sparkledlooks Adding this comment for the benefit of anyone who reads this scam thread…..If they “sell” 10 of these and one or two people do not address the problem within 3 days of delivery (of whatever they put in the package), the funds will be released. So they are banking on someone not knowing the rules of posh. Or someone could be on vacation when the package arrives and not able to accept within 3 days, at which time the funds will be released. 3 days is a long weekend.

cassandradrinno if they mail something at all and it gets delivered and the buyer doesn't check/rate within 3 days it's auto accepted and nothing can be done after that. I always check immediately but that's the only way this scam works. I guess they are hoping people are away and not there to get packages smh
