liledeglace i love julia. she is an inspiration. was this book useful? why are you giving it up? I'm very picky about my cookbooks bc they need to have very few ingredients per recipe and lots of pictures. Are her recipes approachable for a novice/working professional? Thanks in advance for your review and insights? I think she was or is very close to putting up a netflix series for her fans, which may be a bit less intimidating?

liledeglace She asked for her bday gift books this year to be in Chinese, so it's been somewhat of a challenge. I'm just gonna donate my tuttles concise dictionary and some of the Chinese books, whatever I can find in my collection to her, lol, not that I don't need it myself, haha. My mastery in the language is deteriorating and Amazon has not been the kindest to us for a couple years now, lol. Considering getting a b&n membership to supplement.
