CERAMICA CONTINENTAL Vtg Calla Lily Pottery Planter Pot 9"x7.5"x6"

Dimensions: approximately 9" tall x 7.5" wide x 6" deep Colors: Dark Green, Light Green, White and Yellow This calla lily pottery piece is gorgeous and in fantastic vintage condition! I see no cracks, chips or crazing. I believe it's a planter but there is a narrow slot next to where the plant would go, which could be for watering. I've wondered if perhaps business cards once went there? I've also wondereed if maybe this piece once housed a lamp of some sort. Whatever it is, it's certainly unique and lovely. It would be beautiful even placed on shelves or on top of a stack of books. It would also look wonderful with a plant in it. If anyone knows for certain what the slot is for, please comment.
