But the ones I did keep work really well. They have, so far, helped keep my dog and cats cool in the hot (often over 100 degrees) summer. Over the last winter (where we get snow) I added a self warming pad (inexpensive and no need to plug in - worked really well for my outdoor cats) on top so it has kept them cooler in the summer and with the added pad still comfy and warm in the winter. I have a 20-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier Mix she's larger than an average Chihuahua and she loves hers and fits it perfectly. My cats love theirs too. Basically I feel like I'm writing a review here but I kind of am.
