Russel Wright AMERICAN MODERN line in CHUTNEY (a rich brown glaze color) This is an early piece and as such is not marked. This gravy boat is part of my personal collection of the mid-century designer Russel Wrights American Modern Pottery Line made by Steubenville Pottery. When I was collecting I was keen to find the most early pieces I could find. Excellent condition from my smoke free home. As an early Russell Wright piece you may find glaze pops or skips, crazing or kiln kisses or other manufacturing marks which are typical - I dont notice anything of note in this piece but I urge you to view the photos and ask if you have any questions.
