She spent six months studying textile engineering in Ghent, after which she moved to Milan. In Italy, she worked with several brands, including Dries Van Noten, John Galliano, and Helmut Lang. She returned to Brussels in 1992 and began to build her own label. Today, D’Hoore is recognized as a talented designer who has earned an esteemed reputation, and is known for her love for pure lines and her modernist approach. Minimalistic, clean, and pure are words used to describe her designs.
