Silver and Garnet Ring "Damaged", Vintage

This tiny size 5 ring is from my childhood. So it's vintage. The setting is damaged but I believe it's silver, although I have not been able to find any hallmarks. It's a small piece though, so they may be there but I just haven't found them. There is also a small garnet stone set in the ring. It looks in tact. Perhaps the piece can be used for "parts".:).
