Vintage 1920s HalSam Black Dragon Double 9 Wood Dominoes Set of 56, USA 920 Box

This vintage set of dominoes are by Hal-Sam #920, Made in the USA. The box is full at 56 pieces. These are made of what appears to be wood - I though originally bakelite but one of the pieces had a chipped corner that looks like wood. The pieces are black with white painted number dots and embossed Chinese Dragons on the opposite side. Double 9 style. The Halsam Products company of Chicago was founded in 1917 by Hal Elliot and Sam Goss. I estimate this set dates from the 1920s-1930s era. The box measures 6-5/8" L by 3-7/8" W by 1-1/2" Tall. Each domino is 1-3/4" long by 7/8" wide by 3/8" thick. The condition is as shown in the photographs - the box has damage and chipping to the graphics. Some of the dominoes white paint is missing and a few pieces have knicks or dings.
