Vintage 1950s HOWDY DOODY Celluloid Composition 13.5" Marionette Puppet Doll

This old marionette doll features the famed children's character Howdy Doody. He has, what feels like a celluloid or possibly composition head that is painted with his famous red hair. blue eyes and freckles. Ht has a striped sweater, khaki pants, gun holster and red boots. There are seven strings attached to the control panel. The back of the head, near the neck has lettering that appears to read "P PUPPET". The doll measures 13-1/2 inches tall (excluding strings). The condition is exactly as shown in the pictures. This item dates from the 1950s and has wear and tear. Strings are a bit tangled.
