westerbur Do you have anything stating it’s fox because it looks awful lot like mink fox tails a big bushy tails minx have a little tails like that

graindepoudre @westerbur Hi, thanks for your suggestions. It's fox, maybe a younger fox. It's too fluffy, fine, and soft to be mink. Fox is sometimes also worth more since mink is very plentiful, but I agree mink is a worthwhile fur.

graindepoudre @westerbur Thank you so much! Yeah, after you mentioned it, I did realize the tail was on the small side. It's ultra-soft, so makes sense it was a younger fox.

lapierrefine FYI -these are martens, not foxes. Foxes are much larger, martens are in the mink family. They don't use baby fox kits for furs. The original tails have broken off or been worn down. I have the same collection of furs - not selling. These were very popular in the 1930s and 40s
