Vintage 80’s Nancy & Rise Bronze Enamel and Rhinestone Y Necklace Signed

Lovely old Y necklace by Nancy & Rise out of New York. Nancy & Rise Ltd was established in 1987 by a husband & wife team (Rise Egert & Nancy Schlesinger). They were taken over in the 90’s, but their costume pieces are highly sought after and collectible. High quality costume with a Victorian Revival style. Nancy & Rise were known for their unique and high-end costume pieces. In this charming piece, the rhinestone settings, chains and lobster clasp are of rich bronze tone. Pinkish golden brown enamel detail is found on some of the settings and the settings themselves are delightful in their variety. The rhinestones are of amber gold, clear and Aurora Borealis. The end charm is a faceted amber gold Lucite/acrylic cabochon with glitter underlying. On the back of the central charm are the initials NR inside a raised oval for Nancy & Rise. (Not to be confused with Nina Ricci, or Avon's Nina Ricci collection - Their NR marks are different.) 17.5” - The stem of the Y adds an additional 1.75”. Excellent vintage condition with no flaws.
