Vintage Fringe Covered Black Bolero Pencil Skirt Set S Shimmy Cowgirl Prom

Hippy, Hippy, Shake. It is impossible to stand still in this ensemble. A Remarkable VINTAGE 1940-50s Fringe Bolero Jacket and Matching Skirt Set. Stunning. Fabulous condition. The material of the jacket is lighter weight than that used for the skirt. The fringe matches on both. The bolero material is a drape-y, chiffon-y crepe and, except for the shoulders, is covered in rows of 1.5" fringe. There are no closures. This jacket is meant to stay open; keep that in mind when looking at measurements. Half-length sleeves. Bolero jacket is a modern cropped style. Divine. The material for the skirt appears to be a medium to heavy weight black taffeta, definitely of the era. At the back waist there is a silver, side seam metal zipper with one button. Fringe on Skirt is longer than on jacket at 3.5" strands. There is a 3" hem, tho the crease is pretty set. You might be able to steam it out and let down the skirt, there are no strands of fringe on the hem. Branding on Tags in Skirt: Goodman Scheinhorn, Inc. Design by Sabo No size tags.
