Vintage Retro Sweater Guard

This is a vintage sweater guard I purchased in early 2000 at an antique store. The pendants that fit in the sweater are a square or diamond shape depending on how you turn them. There are four rhinestones around a large center rhinestone. The sweater guard is gold tone and it has two chains going from one medallion to the other and two chains that drop off of one medallion with a ball of filigree type at the bottom. what a retro way to ensure an open cardigan sweater stays in place when worn. I loved it and wore it a lot, so it does show wear and tarnish consistent with its age and prior use. Pre-owned
