Vintage Zuni Thunderbird Bolo

This is a Vintage Zuni bird bolo tie. Stones of coral, turquoise, jet and mother of pearl set in (tested) sterling attached to a silver tone latch mechanism. The latch works well. The 2-inch tips on black cord are silver plated. Coral represents Mother Earth and turquoise represents Father Sky. The Zuni believed that each animal held spiritual powers that could be possessed by the wearers of what animal is portrayed. Great usable condition. May need cleaning. No Sterling mark. Non smoking home.
