A rare find is this genuine Lucite bangle bracelet from the 1960s. A thick transparent tube is twisted before setting, A metal fitting, almost always missing, is applied to the ends. This is the same bangle I photographed for the book I photographed and co-authored called "Plastic Bangles, Schiffer, 2005, and shown on pg 133. This is a chunky piece with an approx. 2 5/8" inside diameter with 1/2" thick tubes. This bangle is in excellent pre-used, vintage, condition.
