Organic means they are using less toxic chemicals overall on their crops and following processes closer to ancient farming methods to grow the fibers! Better for the farmer and the earth! Silver medal: look for Fair Trade labels! This means that the brand has paid additional money directly to the farmer to support their business! Gold medal: the top tier: Regenerative Organic fibers>> this is the gold star of natural fibers! Regenerative farming is proving to be the most eco-conscious method available. From crop diversity giving back to the soil, animal welfare, and utilizing traditional farming methods, regenerative agriculture can help to reverse climate change thru carbon sequestration!
